Kombiner was born out of a long-standing partnership with Danish yacht designer and manufacturer RAND Boats. Since 2020, we have been responsible for shaping and developing their digital ecosystem. It was within this collaboration that the ambition to build a leading configurator and e-commerce platform for high-end goods first took shape.With customers across the globe and a growing need to accurately calculate costs while visualising each client’s dream boat, RAND required a robust digital platform capable of turning complex configurations into clear, actionable opportunities.

In 2022, this led to the development of the RAND Configurator — the foundation and first version of what would become the Kombiner platform.However, visualising a boat is only one part of the journey. Converting that configuration into a qualified lead — and assigning it to the right wholesaler in the right country — is another. A core innovation in the engine was the development of intelligent lead-routing logic, ensuring that each configuration request was automatically matched with the appropriate agent based on geography and setup.Through this system, and continuous iteration over the years, the platform has generated more than 1,700 qualified leads, representing a combined build value exceeding €230 million (approx. DKK 1.7 billion).
